Bookings
Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to all bookings made with South West Circus, including school workshops, festival performances and festival workshops.
Deposit
A £100 deposit is required to secure your date. Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If you need to cancel
- The £100 deposit is non-refundable, as it holds your date and turns away other enquiries for that day.
- If you cancel more than 28 days before the event, only the deposit is retained — no further charge applies.
- If you cancel within 28 days of the event, the full balance may also be due, since it's unlikely the date can be rebooked at short notice.
- If you need to move your date rather than cancel outright, get in touch as early as possible — I'll always try to find an alternative date first, at no extra cost, subject to availability.
If I need to cancel
In the rare event that I have to cancel (illness, injury, or unforeseen circumstances), you'll receive a full refund of your deposit, and I'll do my best to help you find a suitable alternative.
Weather & outdoor events
For outdoor festivals and fairs, decisions about performing in poor weather will be made together on the day with the event organiser, prioritising safety. This isn't treated as a cancellation by either party where a suitable adjustment (moving indoors, shortening a set) can be agreed.
